How good does heading to the park to enjoy a pizza for dinner sound? Much better than cooking at home on a warm summers evening. Pizza is best shared with friends and family too so here are some parks that feature a fantastic playground and a renowned pizza shop near by, so you can pick up a pizza on the way and get dinner sorted.
Clarko Reserve + Trigg Pizza
Clarko Reserv e is located right on the Trigg Beach foreshore, just a stones throw from the beach and features a big playground, lots of sheltered seating and grassed area. Trigg Pizza North Beach is just a short drive up West Coast Highway and they do amazing pizzas. Our favourite is the Trigg Island Special, make sure you give it a try! Trigg Pizza is open daily from 4pm.
Millett Park + Pizza & Co Innaloo
Millett Park Innaloo is also known as “Spiderman” Park due to the huge space net that features here. Also enjoy a toddler playground, exercise stations, picnic shelters, lots of grassed area and a nature based play area. Just a short walk up the road is Pizza & Co and it’s open daily from 5pm so you can grab your wood fired pizza to enjoy in the park. How good is this? If you have food intolerances, you can bring your own ingredients for your pizza!
Dixon Park + Kerry Street Pear Tree Hamilton Hill
Dixon Park features a fantastic playground with nature based play, obstacle ropes challenges, water play and lots more. Alongside the playground is a big picnic shelter and there is lots of grassed area to picnic. On the way grab a wood fired pizza from Kerry Street Pear Tree Wednesday – Saturday 4-8pm.
Bardon Park + Annies Woodfired Pizza Maylands
At Bardon Park the pizza is right there, with Annie’s Woodfired Pizzas set up in the carpark 10am – 6pm Wednesday to Sunday. Bardon Park overlooks the Swan River and features a flying fox, nature based play and lots of grassed area to picnic. Just check Annie’s Woodfired Pizza’s facebook to make sure they will be there as they are sometimes at other events during these times.
