The water is calm and mostly shallow so is nice spot for younger ones to splash around close to the shore. Be aware however that as you go out there is a steep drop off where the water gets darker.  There is also ramp access to the beach and a accessible mat out to the water’s edge so there is good pram or disabled access onto the beach.

Out in the deep area is a long pontoon that’s accessible from two ladders and is in a position that is deep enough to jump from the pontoon into the water safely.

Kids will love splashing at the beach and at the water playground on the foreshore too. Splash Park is located on the grassed area near the BBQ and features a splash pad water play feature.

Shelters, tables & chairs, showers and toilets are located on the grassy foreshore, so everything you need to spend the day at the each is here. The carpark is located in close proximity to the beach so no long walks to the beach carrying all your gear! If it’s a coffee or a light meal your after then head to the Dome just across from carpark.

Safety Considerations: This is an unpatrolled beach and is shallow but has a large drop off further out into the water. Supervise young children at arms reach at all times
