The Rockingham Beach Foreshore Boardwalk runs along the Rockingham Foreshore west end dining precinct and is located between the cafes and restaurants and the beach and offers a fun and relaxing space for families.
Whether you are looking to dine beachside with the family, are looking for a family friendly spot to enjoy a swim at the beach or you just want to grab an ice-cream or some local takeaway and want somewhere to sit seaside to enjoy it, the Rockingham Beach Boardwalk is perfect.
Parallel to the boardwalk are a range of cafes and restaurants where you can dine or order a takeaway meal including Latitude 32 , Palm Beach Cafe, Eight on the Beach and many more.
This space is perfect for letting the kids have a run around and a play while you wait for your food, or to sit and enjoy while you eat an ice-cream or some takeaway food (there are a few fish and chips shops nearby) from one of the local restaurants. Grown ups will love the wooden deck seating or the sun lounges and the kids will like the open space, slide with small rock climb wall on either side and fixed horizontal cargo net.
There’s also a little bit of grassed space where the kids can run around or you can lay out your towel and sit under one of the umbrellas.
This is also a lovely spot for a family swim with good disabled and pram access to the beach via the ramp walk way and universal access pathway right down to the Rockingham Beach water’s edge. The water here is lovely and calm and is absolutely stunning on a warm day when it’s not too windy.
This summer grab an ice-cream or some takeaway food or book a table at one of the Rockingham Foreshore restaurants and wander down to play and relax at the colourful, relaxing and fun Rockingham Beach Foreshore Boardwalk.
