Rosslare Park Mindarie is located at the end of a quiet street not far from the Mindarie Marine. It’s a beautiful little spot for a swim and a play at the park.
If you are looking for a nice quiet place to enjoy a swim with little ones this is it. Entry to the beach area is via limestone steps and the water is shallow, calm and very clear. It’s located north of the Mindarie Marina at the end of the residential canal area. Toilets are available across the road near the carpark – they close at 8pm in winter and 9pm in summer.
There is lots of natural shade so it’s a great place to take a picnic, or use one of the sheltered picnic tables.
This is also a great spot to take kayaks or canoes the shallow area extends out approx 20 meters – and there is a carpark just a across the road so it’s easy access to carry across your kayak or anything else you need. You can also access the main beach from the carpark too.
There also a small fully fenced playground at Rosslare Park Mindarie, it overlooks the beautiful canal beach area, however there is no shade over the playground.
Rosslare Park Mindarie is an absolutely beautiful spot for a quiet picnic and a swim, and is perfect for younger ones or if you want to do a bit of kayaking with the kids.

Note: the google map locates Rosslare Park a little further north, but it is located at the northern end of the Marina on Clarecastle Retreat.
