The Scented Gardens are located alongside the South Perth Foreshore just a short walk from the South Perth Ferry Jetty and features a fantastic shaded playground with something for kids of all ages.
If you are catching the ferry from Elizabeth Quay to South Perth, the Scented Gardens Playground is just a short 5 min walk east along the foreshore before you reach a big circular car park, the playground is located just across from here.
The playground is well shaded and has something for all ages with a taller play structure, ropes challenges, small rock climbing wall and low level role play with shop and little bus for sand play.
There are plenty of swings at the park with a traditional swing set with one toddler seat and a bird’s nest swing too.
The Scented Gardens Playground is a great place to enjoy a picnic too with toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and lots of grassed area to run around. It’s located right next to a big carpark which is ticket parking Mon-Sat 8-6pm.
You may like to include a walk or ride along the foreshore with your play. The views of the city and South Perth are amazing and it’s particularly spectacular at night when all the city lights come on.
If you are wanting to visit the beautiful South Perth Foreshore the kids will love this playground and it makes for a fun thing to do if you catch the ferry over from Elizabeth Quay. Have a play and head back on the ferry or stay a while and enjoy a picnic, BBQ or ride or walk along the Swan River Foreshore.
