You can pop in for an icecream and a play, or if you want to bring along a bbq lunch, entry is free but this isn’t a public playground  – so it is asked that you buy and icecream (you wont be disappointed!).

There’s plenty of shade grassed area for a picnic or grab a picnic shelter if you are lucky. The kids will play for hours in the fabulous playground

Make sure you walk over the bridge and say hello to Edward the Emu, but be warned he will steal your icecream if given the chance

You can also take in a round of mini golf while you are there. There is a fee to play, but we thought $8.50 per child under 13 for 18 holes was really good value. It’s a great little course set in beautiful shady gardens. There are also great value family golf passes available if the whole family wants to challenge each other.

There are several signs around the place, so make sure you supervise your kids closely (there is a little creek that runs to the back of the playground with a bridge over it) – you have been warned!

Safety Considerations: There is a little creek that runs to the back of the playground with a bridge over it, so watch little ones closely.  Also keep some distance from the fence when visiting the Edward the Emu
