Playground * Dinosaurs * Picnic Shelters * Toilets * BBQ’s * Free Parking * Cricket Nets * Grassed Area
Sir Walter Padbury Park is a must visit for any little dinosaur fan with several dinosaur bones they can climb on and through in a sand pit area alongside the playground.
Alongside the dinosaur bones is a small playground with a small play structure, best suited to toddlers and preschoolers.
For the bigger kids there is a dome shaped climbing structure alongside the main playground. This area isn’t shaded unfortunately.
A playground isn’t a playground without a swing. Sir Walter Padbury Park features a large birds nest swing.
The playground is located on a large reserve, so there is plenty of grassed area to run around and kick a ball. Bring the cricket bat and ball (cricket nets available) too. There are couple of carparks, however it’s a bit of walk from the carpark to the playground so keep this in mind if you need to bring stuff from the car.
With a large picnic shelter, toilets and bbq too, Sir Walter Padbury Park is a great place to meet with family and friends for a bbq or picnic and a play.
