The South Perth Fiesta is an annual event that runs in 2015 from March 7th – 22nd to celebrate our city’s past, present and future.
For families there are concerts, activities, markets, art displays and more, many of which are free, so here are our Top Free Family FIESTA 2015 Events
Saturday March 7th – Come – Play – Create at McDougall Park Kindergarten, Como, 9-3pm
Help transform the McDougall Park Community Kindergarten fence into imaginative, interactive world. Bring along a pre-loved toy along to join in. There will also be face painting, bubbles and kids activities
Sunday March 8th – Angelo Street Marketplace, South Perth, 10-4pm
Wander through market stalls, while you enjoy live entertainment and lots of kids activities.
Saturday March 14th – Gowrie Gala Day, Kawara, 10 – 1pm
Free activities for all the family including face painting, a bouncy castle, and a treasure hunt in the community garden sandpit. Suitable for kids 2 – 8 yrs.
Saturday March 14th – Waterford Plaza Street Festival, Karawara, 11am -8.30pm
Saturday March 15th – Waterford Plaza Street Festival, Karawara, 11am – 3pm
Enjoy a world of culture and cuisine. There will be free entertainment, lots of food and market stalls
Sunday March 15th – Skate Clinics, Manning Skate Park, 10-12noon
Skate clinics for all levels aged 5-25yrs. All equipment provided
7 foot tall illuminated white bunnies lighting up the South Perth foreshore
Sunday 15th March Discover Disc Golf, Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth, 10-3pm
Bring your friends and family to learn how to throw a disc and play the course for free and as often as you like!
Monday 16th March – Playgroup WA Fiesta, Coode Street Playground, South Perth, 10 – 1 pm
For families with children aged 0-5, activities will include mini maracas craft, mexican dancing and coloring in. Meet the Playgroup WA team who will introduce you to new play ideas, help you find your nearest playgroup and offer parenting support and advice.
Come and see how you can transform your health, fitness and happiness with our variety of group outdoor personal training programs.
Enjoy fun fitness challenges including an inflatable obstacle course and bungee run with prizes and activities for the kids too.
Saturday 21st March – Fiesta Concert, from 5 – 9.30pm
Fiesta Concert will feature iconic Australian band, Thirsty Merc and special guests Montaigne and The Jungle Giants.
Thirsty Merc will perform all their favourites such as ‘Someday, Someday’ plus showcase the acoustic hits from their recent album.
The Concert will commence from 5pm and will include pre-show entertainment, kids’ activities and a food vendor area. Fireworks Finale
