Sunflowers Animal Farm Margaret River is a must visit, if you are holidaying in Margaret River – it’s located only a few minutes drive out of town on Caves Road.

This is a very hands on animal and farm experience. They have over 350 animals, over a 10 acre area, that the kids will love patting, feeding and interacting with. The animals are very friendly and you can purchase buckets of food to feed them so they will love you even more! Bottle feeding occurs twice daily, you can call the farm to find out what time feeding is planned before your visit.
Your family will love this outing no matter what the weather! There are a few under cover areas where you can shelter from the rain in winter, and in true farm style, it can get a bit muddy when its wet so bring the kids gum boots along.

Kids will love seeing the goats, sheep, chickens, horses, pigs, llamas and more! Our kids love the rabbit enclosure the best, they love getting up close to feed and pat all these gorgeous little bunnies.
If you would like to make more of a day of it, you can stay afterwards and enjoy a yummy Simmo’s icecream, BBQ or picnic at the big pirate playground located at the front entrance to the farm. You get wrist band so you can go in and out as you please throughout the day. Note: the bbq and playground area are only for use by paying customers and guests at the Sunflower Farmstay – it is not a public playground.
