The Leaky Tap Mosman Park is a quirky plumbing themed cafe, owned by Australian Olympic Gymnast and Ninja Warrior Oliva Vivian. Her dad was a well known plumber in the area so this is how the idea for the cafe theme came about.
The plumbing theme is worked right through the cafe from the menu to the tableware so she has cleverly used all the tricks of the trade to deck out this beautiful little cafe.
For the kids the most popular feature is the toilet seat cafe chairs. Each one has something different floating inside. from Ninja Turtles to an iPhone, they’ll be asking all the guests to stand up so they can have a look!
They also have a great little activity corner with colouring in and little kids toolboxes filled with pencils, crayons and plastic tools.
The owner Olivia even let the kids re draw the blackboard out the front – what do you think?
There wasn’t a kids menu as such, but they had a good range of toasts, smoothies and milkshakes on the menu when we went for breakfast. The kids had a smoothie each and the youngest had a poached egg on toast with baked beans on the side. I was being good so had a Raw Cacao protein Ball which was delicious!
I love that they have lots of healthy options on the menu with raw food options and a range of blended juices. There’s plenty of sweet treat options too, to enjoy with your coffee and treats for the kids – like the always popular cookie faces and muffins.
The Leaky Tap Mosman Park is the perfect place for breakfast, lunch or a coffee and milkshake out with the kids, they love having kids in to check out all the toilet chairs and other plumbing decor.
