The Orange Box Leighton Beach is one of the coolest places to hang beachside in Perth. Located right in front of access to the beautiful Leighton Beach, this is a fun and relaxed place to enjoy a swim, meal and games on the grass on a warm sunny day.
This beachside cafe is open daily (6am – 3.30pm and until 6pm in the warmer months) and features undercover, alfresco and sunny dining with a choice of seating including deck chairs – perfect for relaxing and soaking in the sun while you enjoy a coffee, smoothie or fresh juice.
You can also enjoy a range of meals and snacks at The Orange Box Leighton, which include all day breakfast, burgers, kids meals (from $4-9.50) as well as sweets, treats and snacks available at the counter from the display. There are vegan, healthy and gluten free food options so there is something for everyone. Oh and what’s a beachside cafe without icecream, you can get the kids a delicious Il Gelato treat.
There is plenty of room to run around with a big grassed area in front of The Orange Box that includes BBQs. A pathway runs around the grassed area so bring the scooters or small bikes along. For some added fun ask the staff if you can borrow some of their outdoor games. These include beach cricket, boule, giant jenga, croquet and more. For those that are musically inclined there are guitars and ukuleles to play.
Access to the beautiful Leighton Beach is right in front of The Orange Box and there is also an ablution block here with toilets and showers. Leighton Beach is patrolled by the Fremantle SLSC on weekends.
As you can see The Orange Box at Leighton Beach is a great spot to hang awhile, run around or picnic on the grass and the relaxed vibes of The Orange Box.
