The Sweet Remedy Leederville, conveniently located at the less busy end of Oxford Street Leederville, away from the main cafe strip, is a great place to enjoy a coffee, cupcakes and more with the kids. The Yummy Mummy Day Spa is right next door so if you are heading there you could pop in before or after your treatment.
Pink Oreo Mudcake
Their speciality is definitely cupcakes, but they also have a great range of savoury muffins, banana bread, breakfast pies and croissants and kids can come in and decorate their own cupcakes any time, you don’t need to book.I had the Pink Oreo Mudcake and it was delicious with half an Oreo on top and another Oreo on top under the frosting! And I just had to help my son finish his Choc Mint Bliss as he couldn’t get through it – which was also just divine.

You can choose to dine indoors in one of these retro booths or there are tables and there is also a small lounge area or if you are in a rush text your order ahead with your name, size and order to 0422 417 187 and grab your coffee and cake to go. Make sure you grab a coffee rewards card, buy 9 get the 10th free
If you are dining with a pram, and it’s a little busy, or if you are coming along with a group of friends with prams, then just ask one of the staff to help you access the backyard from the side (once the kids area is fenced off this will be open for easy access in the future). The lounge area towards the back of the cafe indoors is also a great place to sit if you have a pram.
You may also like to dine outside. The Sweet Remedy have a beautiful “Backyard” dining area. Here you will find a deck that looks over a grassed area where the kids can run around, say hello to the rabbits, play in the cubby house and draw on the blackboard.. It’s a fully enclosed area so great for little ones.
