Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre Lesmurdie
TheKanyana Centre is dedicated to wildlife conservation, caring for sick andinjured wildlife. Discovery tours of the centre are available every T hursdayand Sunday from 10am to 12pm . Lesmurdie Falls & Upper Lesmurdie Falls
Withall the rain over winter, the Lesmurdie Falls are flowing and the flowers andblossoming, so now is the perfect time to visit. There are 5 walk trails tosuit all fitness levels from between 300m and 5km in length. Once you’vefinished at the falls, head up the road to the Upper Lesmurdie Falls area whichhas plenty of space for a picnic and lots of nature play experiences. Kalamunda History Village

John Forrest National Park
John Forrest National Park is home to two waterfalls that flow in Winter and Spring, Hovea and National Park Falls. Lake Leschenaultia

Kalamunda WaterPark is the perfect affordable day out for the family on a hot summer’s day.With two waterslides and four pools including a toddler pool there is somethingfor the whole family to enjoy. Surviving Tips you Can Follow During Your Child’s School Holidays
The school holidays can be an incredibly exciting experience for children, but it’s also important to remember the potential stress and confusion that can come with the break in routine. Taking control of your child’s ‘downtime’ will help ensure the holiday period is an enjoyable one for all involved.
Sticking to set bedtimes, providing fun activities and having healthy snacks available as well as plenty of water will help ensure everybody gets the most out of their break from school.
Scheduling each day so that there are clear goals in place can avoid boredom and provide structure – this doesn’t mean you have to plan every minute, just enough in order to make sure everyone is getting the most out of their free time together.
