Things to do with Kids at Elizabeth Quay
South Perth to Elizabeth Quay Ferry
You may like to make your way to Elizabeth Quay by ferry. Parking is a little cheaper in South Perth, so you could park there, catch the ferry across, spend the day then catch the ferry back to your car. The ferry takes you straight into the heart of Elizabeth Quay. If you caught the train into Elizabeth Quay (jump off at the Esplanade Station, Elizabeth Quay is just across the road) you can use your All Day Family Rider ticket to enjoy a ride to South Perth and back at no extra cost. BHP Billiton Water Park – Splash Play!
The BHP Billiton Water Park was reopened in December 2016 and is an interactive water feature that uses jets and lighting to create fun and exciting water choreography. The park is open daily 10-6pm and is closed Tuesdays (and Christmas Day).
V Burger Bar – Kids Food to Eat!
V Burger Bar is located right alongside the BHP Billiton Water Park and is a nice place to eat with kids overlooking Elizabeth Quay. The have mini burgers and mini fish and chips for the kids as well as a range of muffins and cookies to go with your coffee.
Island Playground
Enjoy some play time at the Island Playground. Climb the fort to the top, splash in the two water play features, swing, balance on logs and more. The Isle of Voyage General Store is right next to the playground so you can grab a coffee to enjoy at the playground or if you haven’t eaten and haven’t packed a lunch you can buy healthy picnic style food to enjoy at the playground. Adventure Golf
Enjoy a round of 18 holes of mini golf with the family at Adventure Golf Elizabeth Quay. They are open 7 days 10am – 10pm. Adults $15, kids $12, family pass $40
Gusto Gelato
There is nothing better than a delicious icecream to complete your day out at Elizabeth Quay. Choose from a big range of flavours including salted caramel, cheese cake, apple pie, lemon lime & bitters as well as the old faithfuls like chocolate and vanilla. Pull up a table and chairs and enjoy your ice cream while overlooking the beautiful Elizabeth Quay.
Swan Bell Tower
Enjoy the Swan Bell Tower Experience and learn all about the bells history, have a turn at ringing the bells and head up to the top of the tower to check out the amazing city and Swan River views.
