The Timber and Heritage Park Playground is newest and arguably the best free entry adventure playground in Western Australia. It cost over a million dollars to create and has unique playground equipment for children of all ages which was custom made in Germany. There is shaded section for toddlers and little kids with picnic tables and seating nearby,
a big flying fox,
a water play feature,
a spinning disk,
swings,
a climbing tower with slides,
outdoor gym equipment,
vintage trains and more.
The grounds are beautiful and the park has great facilities including gas BBQ’s, a drink fountain, parking, picnic tables and seating, paved walkways and public toilets. Manjimup’s Timber and Heritage Park is centrally located on Edwards St in Manjimup and is open seven days, from 9.00am – 5.00pm, April to September and 9.00am – 8.00pm, October through to March. UPDATE June 2016: Timber and Heritage Park Manjimup now features a giant slide, with stairs going up 17m, and the slide entry located at 12m high.
