Tiny Town and Toy Store Port Kennedy is an imagination and role play based play centre that offers multiple imagination play a reas that are all extremely popular with the children that visit.
Theyoffer multiple sessions through out the day with a limited number of childrenin each session, making it great as a sensory space for some kids.
Each of the play areas at Toy Town has a theme and includes a –
- play cafe with a kitchen and out doordining so kids can explore being an owner/worker or customer
- school sochildren can explore what they think big school is or pretend to be a teacher
- hospital for toy or child / adults patients
- police and fire station with ajail and fireman ’ spole
- house to explore their domestic side and be like Mum or Dad
- grocery store,where children can do the food shopping for food for the cafe
- hair salon and
- performance stage at the back with theatreseating
Tiny Town has a barista coffee station for guests butno other café facilities. You can bring your own food however it must only be consumed in the dedicated eating area. A baby change table is available in the toilets. Parking is available at the front however this is limited. It’s now a walk in centre and is open Monday – Friday. Entry is $10 for 0-2 years and $15 for 2+ years, there is no entry fee for parents or carers.
Tiny Town and Toy Store Port Kennedy is a great little place for toddlers and up to 8 years who love to use their imagination. The centre is also working towardsbeing a safe space for children with autism who need a quiet place to play orexplore the various roles of the world around them.
