We are lucky to live in a wonderful city that hosts so many free family friendly events, month after month. Here are the top FREE December 2019 Perth Family Events, so you can enjoy a day or night out with the family that won’t break the bank.

Nightly until 26th December, 2019  – Christmas LIghts Trail Perth (FREE)

Explore parts of the city you may never had been before and experience the magic of Christmas in the city on the Perth City Christmas Lights Trail.  Choose from one of three trails, do them all or find your own way around the 27 mesmerising Christmas lights installations across the Perth CBD, Northbridge and East Perth. Roving entertainment can also be enjoyed Friday and Saturday nights 6-9pm at Forrest Chase, Raine Square, Kings Square and the Perth Cultural Centre. Saturday 7th December 2019 – Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant (FREE)

Exciting display of new floats, old Christmas favourites and entertainers. Pre-pageant activity starts from 6.30pm. The pageant starts from 7.30pm on the corner of St George’s Terrace at William Street and then travels along the Terrace. Find more information at 7perthchristmaspageant.com .

Sunday 8th December – St Patrick’s Mount Lawley Christmas Festival

Sunday 8th December 2019 | Carols in the Park Burswood

Narrated by Channel 7’s Monika Kos and Graeme Butler, the special Christmas story and carols concert is like no other in Perth featuring camels, a live nativity scene and showcasing a range of local talent. There will be a variety of activities at Burswood Park on Sunday 8 December from 4pm including facepainting, roving entertainers, lawn games and even a visit from the big man (Santa) himself! Pre-show entertainment will commence at 6.30pm with fun Christmas songs and Aussie hits and memories. The Christmas story and carols commence at 7.30pm. Thursday 19th December, 2019 – Christmas at Lake Monger (FREE)

Celebrate the festive season with family and friends at the annual Christmas at Lake Monger Festival. There will be plenty of children’s entertainment, rides and live musical performances throughout the night, with the traditional finale of Christmas Carols and the turning on of the Christmas Tree lights.
