We are lucky to live in a wonderful city that hosts so many free family friendly events, month after month. Here are the top FREE May 2019 Perth Family Events, so you can enjoy a day or night out with the family that won’t break the bank.

Saturday4th –  Altone Come Alive, Beechboro Altone’sfavourite festival returns for another massive year!  Spend the day being entertained by localperformers, schools, dance and cultural groups with a massive program ofonstage entertainment. Mosey around and take in the community stalls, marketsand massive array of food trucks and multicultural stalls. Let the kids loosein the massive kids zone with plenty of rides and amusements, cuddly and nativeanimals, activities, face painting and stacks more. Sunday5th –  Moondyne Festival, Toodyay Thelegend of Moondyne Joe, the Avon Valley’s legendary bushranger transforms thepicturesque historical town of Toodyay, Western Australia into a lively daylongfestival.  A highlight of the day beingthe re-enactment of Moondyne Joe’s various escapades throughout the town, hisarrests and mock trial.  Join in the funwith Moondyne Joe as he runs around town, robbing shops, escaping custody andbeing a general menace.  Cheer on Joe’sgang, ‘floozies’, coppers, swaggies and the Town Crier.   This is a FREE Festival from 9am to 4pm. Monday6th to Sunday 19th –  Armadale Arts BushTrail, Bedfordale Thenatural beauty of the Armadale Settlers Common East will be highlighted duringthe inaugural Armadale Arts Bush Trail.
