Treehouse Cove Playground Golden Bay is another one of those playgrounds that’s not huge, but is absolutely packed with play features (including the big treehouse tower). Plus it also has the Jacob’s Ladder of the far south, Golden Bay’s Ladder!

In comparison to some of Perth’s Super Parks, Treehouse Cove Playground Golden Bay is relatively small, but it makes up for it in height and play features. Plus smaller also means it’s easier to keep an eye on the kids right?!

The playground is all centred around and under the two treehouses that are connected by a rope bridge and there are two enclosed slides down that vary in height.

Underneath the treehouse are several rope climbing challenges on a soft fall surface, plus there are lots of unique, interactive,nature based and sensory play features around the base of the treehouses.

There’s plenty of play action on the ground with a big balancing bridge and all abilities access spinning carousel.

And there is plenty of swinging action available too.

Treehouse Cove Playground Golden Bay has lots of play for all ages. With the big tall towers and slides for the big kids, and smaller versions lower to the ground for the little ones.

There’s lots of grassed area to lay out a picnic rug or kick a ball around plus there is a picnic shelter, water fountain and BBQs right near the playground. As with many new estate playgrounds there are no toilets currently in place.

Active will also love Golden Bay’s Ladder, it’s the Jacobs Ladder of the far south. With 135 steps to the top, the whole family will love climbing these steps together.

There is a platform stop part the way up with some seating, and the views from the 360 degree views from the top of the ocean and the Darling Scarp are probably amongst the best views in Perth.

The other cool thing is that the top of Golden Bay’s Ladder is all abilities accessible, with a winding path that can be accessed from the streets below.

Treehouse Cove Playground Golden Bay is most definitely worth the drive south, with play features for the whole family and views from the top of Golden Bay’s Ladder that are not to be missed.
