The playground mostly consists of ninja obstacle course play features made from wood and rope, with obstacles of varying difficulty to suit both little and big kids.

Ninjas love to climb so they will also love the huge double space net at Tuckfield Playground. There’s already great views of the Fremantle Port and Containbow from the playground, imagine what the views are like from up there.

Nature based play also features at Tuckfield Playground with a series of balancing logs alongside the obstacle course. There is a drink fountain located here too.

The park also features a grassed area, and a surrounding pathway – so there is somewhere for the kids to ride their scooters or small bikes.  A picnic shelter and BBQs are located close to the playground and there is a dedicated carpark with free parking alongside the playground on Tuckfield Street.

There are public toilets located alongside The Kiosk Fremantle on Riverside Road, however you need to cross Canning Highway which can be very busy so it may be better to drive down if you need to use the toilets or visit the toilets before you head to the park. Beach Street Co is open daily and is a lovely place to dine with kids overlooking the Swan River. They also do dinner on some nights in the warmer months.

Tuckfield Playground is a must if you are heading to Fremantle for the day or if you are just looking for somewhere to play with beautiful Swan River views. Team it up with a visit to Containbow or a bite to eat at The Kiosk Fremantle and you have a lovely outing on a warm sunny day.
