Whether you are spending the day in Lancelin (approx 1.5hrs from Perth) or looking for somewhere to stop and stretch your legs on your family road trip further north, Wangaree Park is a perfect place to stop for the whole family with playground, skate park, picnic facilities and shopping centre over the road complete with bakery and supermarket.
The playground is located alongside natural shading and features a small play structure suitable for little and big kids alike, swings (including a basket swing and a toddler swing) and some sensory play features right under the shade of the tree.
Bigger kids and kids who love to skate or scooter will love the skate park, right alongside the playground (so don’t forget to pack their scooters and skateboards ). A basketball hoop can also be found in the playground near the bbq area.
There’s no excuse for the whole family not to be active here with exercise stations located close to the playground.
The park features toilets, bbqs, picnic shelters and a large gazebo so you enjoy a picnic or bbq or you can grab something to eat across the road from the Supermarket or popular Silver Coast Bakery Lancelin.
