Perth Zoo is open every day of the year, including Christmas Day. Whiteman Park
While the attractions may be closed Christmas Day you can still access the park and enjoy the picnic facilities between 9am & 5pm. With several picnic areas, loads of shady picnic tables, BBQs, the mini water playground and multiple kids playground, this is a lovely place to spend Christmas Day with your family, even the family dog can join you (on a lead or off the lead at the Whiteman Park Dog Park ). Island Aqua Park Hillarys Boat Harbour
What a great way to work off all that Christmas food with a action packed session at the Island Aqua Park inflatable obstacle course at Hillarys Boat Harbour. They are open Christmas Day and you can book your session online (booking ahead is recommended as Island Aqua Park has advised that they have already received a number of Christmas Day bookings). Whitfords Nodes Park Hillarys
This large grassy reserve feature two playgrounds, full picnic facilities (including toilets and BBQs), lots of grassed and shady areas and picnic shelters to accommodate many large groups. Plus the staircase, lookout and exercise equipment at the Whitfords Nodes Health and Wellbeing Hub is the perfect way to work off that Christmas lunch. Woodman Point Playground & BBQ Area
The Woodman Point Playground and BBQ area at the John Graham Recreation Reserve is the perfect place to spend Christmas Day with family and friends. There are loads of picnic tables and BBQs and lots of grassed area for a game of cricket or to kick a ball.
