Whitby Playground Features: Adventure Playground | Picnic Shelter | BBQ | Water Fountain | Seating | Water Play | Nature Based Play | No Toilets

Whitby Playground blends beautifully into the surrounding Whitby bushland with native trees that provide lots of shade and raw bushland dirt on the ground both retained within the playground area and has been built with lots of raw materials. It’s located appox 45 mins drive south of Perth in the Byford surrounds area.

This playground is perfect for kids who love to crawl on their hands and knees and get dirty and collect rocks and sticks. Due to the natural elements that have been maintained within the playground there is lots or raw earth, honky nuts and sticks scattered through the playground. There are also a couple of tunnels made from bricks To crawl through.

Little adventurers will love this playground with two soft fall hills to conquer to access the top of the slides. They can choose to climb up on their hand and knees or use the rope to pull themselves to the top.

Nature based play also features at ground level with sand and water play and nature based play elements such as balancing logs and totem poles.

The playground also features a basket swing and two traditional swings, grassed amphitheatre and large grassed area to between the road and the playground too.

Whitby Playground features a couple of picnic shelters and seating and BBQs are located alongside the playground also. There are no toilets at this playground however and parking is located in the street.

If you love to play surrounded by nature you will love Whitby Playground and if live in the city and you are looking for a road trip and a bit of adventure, this playground is perfect.
