Please Note: This centre has permanently closed. Wild Kidz Wangara Features: Play Centre | Multi Level Play Structure | Trampoline Arena | Race Karts (4+, weekends only) | Under 4’s Area | Cafe | Open Daily | Baby Change Facilities | High Chairs
Wild Kidz Wangara was newly refurbished in 2017 so we thought we would get a long to see what the “new” Wild Kidz Wangara looked like.
The renovations that have been completed have certainly made a big difference to the atmosphere. The centre radiates fun, cleanliness and colour.
The front section for the younger kids boasts 2 bouncy castles, activity centres, cubby house, small slide with ball pit and a number of cars, play equipment and interactive panels.
It is fully fenced off and tables are strategically placed so you can enjoy your coffee and watch your little ones at the same time.
T here is a new section for under 4’s, which is also fully fenced, and is solely for the construction of fabric blocks. My daughter enjoyed stacking them all up and running through to knock them over, while safely landing on the rubber mats.
The large activity centre, predominantly for older children, is still in place but has been revamped in areas. There are many tunnels, climbing frames and slides for the children to enjoy. This section is surrounded by tables and arcade games including basketball hoops and racing cars.
In the back section is the most dramatic change to the centre and certainly the most popular. A three lane and level slide with huge ball pit at the bottom. Mats are available for those daredevils who want to slide with pace. At the other end of the ball pit is a new climbing structure with a trampoline base. Once you reach the top of the frame you make your way around the edge to a circular slide which exits into the ball pit.
There is a new, impressive trampolining area (small extra fee in addition to entry, open weekends and school holidays only). Go Karts are also available to enjoy for kids over 4 years of age and are only open on weekends and school holidays.
The party rooms have all been revamped and they have some pretty cool new features including the ability to project images onto the walls. Minecraft, Star Wars, Heroes, Princesses – Whether you have girls or boys there’s an option for everyone.
The toilet and change may facilities were clean and well equipped. Parking is available at the back of the building and directly out the front.
Overall the kids had a wonderful time, the staff were friendly and helpful, the centre is entertaining and provides value for money. We will definitely be visiting again, especially with more changes in the pipeline. Wild Kidz is open 7 days and entry fees can be found on their website. Don’t forget to bring your socks – no socks, no play!
