One of my favourite parts of Yallingup is the nature based playground. It is a cool new addition which is not only fun and functional but interesting to look at as well. Yallingup is a truly special place. There is a moment when I am driving alongside the beautiful bush land and then it opens up and I see the glittering ocean and the pristine white sand and it makes me go “wow!” every single time.
There are benches under a large shaded grassed area and overlooking the beach, perfect for a picnic.
The beach below is a protected crystal clear lagoon. The water is shallow and the waves are gentle, making it an ideal place to take the kids swimming.
There is an abundance or marine life to see so don’t forget to bring your snorkel!
Even in the cooler months Yallingup Beach is still a tranquil place to relax and build sandcastles or just enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The Yallingup Beach Caravan Park is right across the road from the Yallingup Beach car park. I have never stayed there before so I can’t comment on what it is like except the location is fantastic.
If you are looking for a bite to eat near the beach you can’t get much closer than the Shaana Cafe to dine in or take away. The Shaana Cafe features a kids menu, paper & crayons to draw with, high chairs, baby change facilities, gluten free and wholefood options.
Yallingup Beach is located on Yallingup Beach Road in Yallingup, just a few minutes from town. There are public toilets located on the right, close to the path that takes you down to the beach.
