Nature play awaits at Lake Claremont Nature Playground alongside the beautiful Lake Claremont and just a short walk from Lake Espresso and Tee Box Cafes.
The playground is located under tall trees that provide good natural shade and a nature rich play experience.
The main play features is a tall wooden fort with a series of cargo nets to negotiate up to the platform at the top.
Around the base of the fort are balancing logs, sand play and a basket swing.
The playground is fairly simple but it’s the natural elements that give this playground some added fun.
Kids can used dropped branches to make a cubby and many of the trees are perfect for climbing too.
Bring the bikes and scooters and wear your walking shoes. A ride or walk around the lake is a must with a sealed path part the way round a compacted limestone pathway the rest of the way round. Dogs are allowed at Lake Claremont on the lead, and an off the lead dog exercise area is located not far from the Lake Claremont Nature Playground.
BBQs and a picnic shelter and tables are located near the playground, plus there are two cafes just a short stroll away. Public toilets are located behind the golf club building where the cafes are located.
Tee Box Cafe is open all day, daily from 6am. Lake Espresso is open daily from 6.30am (7am weekends) until 1pm. It also has a little nature play area alongside, and both Lake Espresso and Tee Box Cafe have alfresco dining which is perfect for enjoying an open air coffee if the rain comes over during your play.
A visit to Lake Claremont Nature Park is perfect for some nature based play all year round, with not one but two cafes nearby this makes the perfect family outing for nature loving families.
