Mullaloo Beach Pirate Playground

It's pirate's only at this awesome playground me hearties!

* Toilets * Shaded Table & Chairs * BBQ’s * Playground (not shaded) * Parking (can be difficult on a busy day) * 1/2 court basketball ring

Mullaloo Beach is located approximately 25km, north west of Perth, and is probably one of the nicest beach locations north of Perth – with a huge, fully equipped recreational grassed area at Tom Simpson Park right on the beach foreshore.

The foreshore area along Mullaloo Beach extends north from Mullaloo Drive and consists of two seperate areas one south of the Mullaloo Surf Life Saving carpark and the other to the south.

The new Pirate Playground is located on the southern side at the corner of Oceanside Prom & Mullaloo Drive , right near the Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Assoc.

This beautiful little playground bound to delight all those little pirate fans out there – makes for a fun and different play experience.  The playground is mostly constructed from wood and features several climbing options.

It’s located on the large, shady, grassed area on the beautiful Mullaloo Beach foreshore – the grassed area is slightly elevated so you get a beautiful view of the ocean from here.

Located right alongside is a large shaded table and chairs area – so it’s a great spot for a small gathering or birthday party, as parents can sit right alongside the playground.

The playground is not ideal for crawlers and toddlers – as all access on to the two ship areas requires a climb.  Younger children will still ceratainly enjoy it, however they will require assistance to play.

The space underneath the main pirate ship section was very popular with crawlers and toddlers.  In this completely shaded cool little spot there were lots of little ones happily sitting underneath enjoying placing sand on the underneath cross beams.

There are also a couple of rope play features with a set of rope monkey bars and a small climbing net on the side of one of the ship parts – and the swing was very popular too!

The park features lots of grassed areas, several shaded seated areas, barbeques and winding paths through the park.  So it’s a great place to hold a pirate birthday party or to catch up with friends.  Make sure you bring the kids small bikes and scooters along, and a ball or cricket set or a basketball for the haf court basketball ring.

Your little pirate fan will love this playground – its a wonderful park and nice little playground if you are looking for a different play experience.
