The Karda Bidi Walk Trail is 10.6km long and starts at the far end of Victoria Street in Claremont and extends around the river’s edge to Matilda Bay then extends inland to Rosalie Park Subiaco (across from Kings Park). Point Resolution Reserve is one of the points along the way between the start and the middle of the trail. You can find more about the Karda Bidi Walk Trail as well as get a map with the trail features here

From the car parking area at Point Resolution Reserve Dalkeith you will find a couple of entry points to the trail. Wander up and down this trail and you will find access points to the river’s edge. The trail is best walked it’s not really suitable for prams with steps that take you down to the bush trail and back up to the top of the hill.

One of the entry points takes you down to this absolutely stunning rocky beach. The rocks extend into the water and the water is crystal clear. Perfect for having a splash on a warm day. It’s only a short walk from the car parking area so you may want to bring a picnic rug and picnic basket along. This is a beautiful spot to stop and just soak it all in. A true hidden gem.
