The focus of this playground is on adventure and nature based play. The park features lots of wooden play features and uses natural elements such as rocks and logs throughout the park. There are two slides in the park. An enclosed tunnel slide and a open roller slide which was really popular with the kids.

The park also features a basket swing, small climbing frame, small spinning carousel and several sand play features, so there is something for kids of all ages at this playground.

The playground is unfenced, has a couple of BBQs, a water fountain and a picnic table. It’s reliant on natural shade with many new trees yet to be established so make sure you bring along hats and wear sunscreen. The Aveley Adventure Dog Park is located within Vale Central Park also, so this is a great park to give the family dog some adventure play too, just ensure you don’t bring them into the kids playground area.
