Vale Adventure Park Aveley Features: Adventure Playground | Flying Fox | Water Play | BBQs | Fenced Dog Park | No Toilets
Vale Adventure Park is located in Vale Central Park Aveley and features lots of adventure play kids of all ages will love. This park compliments the Aveley Adventure Dog Park also located at Vale Central Park.
The focus of this playground is on adventure and nature based play. The park features lots of wooden play features and uses natural elements such as rocks and logs throughout the park. There are two slides in the park. An enclosed tunnel slide and a open roller slide which was really popular with the kids.
Also featured in the playground is a water play feature. Make sure you bring the spare clothes along as this is a great way for kids to keep cool on a warm day at the park. The water play feature includes a series of troughs that flow down to a rocky creek.
There are a lot of musical play features located with in the park include a xylophone, drums and tall wooden posts with silver “keys” that you move up and down to make music.
And of course what’s an adventure playground without a flying fox. The kids loved getting the wind through their hair on this double cable flying fox.
The park also features a basket swing, small climbing frame, small spinning carousel and several sand play features, so there is something for kids of all ages at this playground.
The playground is unfenced, has a couple of BBQs, a water fountain and a picnic table. It’s reliant on natural shade with many new trees yet to be established so make sure you bring along hats and wear sunscreen. The Aveley Adventure Dog Park is located within Vale Central Park also, so this is a great park to give the family dog some adventure play too, just ensure you don’t bring them into the kids playground area.
