Don’t hibernate this Winter. Rug up and head into the city for a month of activities, events and entertainment.  There’s something for everyone with free school holiday entertainment, live performances, belly warming food and beverage offers and lots more. Winter Fest Theatre Cost: FREE (Tickets Required) When: June 30th – July 15th Where: Forrest Place Forrest Place will be turned into a theatrical hub this school holidays with acrobats, magicians, comedians, singers, dancers and jugglers to delight families in a series of free shows, live on stage. Shows include Dr Hubble Bubbles, Splat!, The Sprites, Rainy Day Caberet, Balloonies, Kidding Around! and Falling Up. This is a free event, however tickets are required to be obtained from Oztix for admittance. Tickets are availalbe now from winterfesttheatre.oztix.com.au . Don’t delay tickets are limited.

Winter Fest Disney Binge Cost: FREE When: July 22nd Where: Perth Town Hall Snuggle up indoors for a full day of Disney movies on the big screen. Watch one, watch them all. All the moves are rated G and include Finding Nemo, Bambi, 101 Dalmations and more. There are 200 bean bags available, plus a coffee vendor with warm drinks to keep the whole family toastie warm. Snow Mall Cost: FREE When: June 30th, Every Fri July, Every Sat & Sun July Where: Hay Street Mall (West End) Wander Hay Street Mall through the wonder of make believe snow. 10 min snow fall sessions with three sessions per hour. For snowfall session times go to www.visitpertcity.com .

Children’s Workshops and Performances Cost: FREE (some events require tickets for entry) When: July 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th & 29th Where: Winter Fest Dome Yagan Square Enjoy family fun and activity with a range of ballet workshops, circus workshops, science workshops and live performances by Scitech, Libby Hammer, The WA Ballet, Circus WA, Bizircus & Rock n Toddle. Giant Ball Pit Cost: FREE When: June 30th – July 11th Where: Winter Fest Dome Yagan Square Ever seen 50,000 white ‘snow balls’ in one the one place at the one time? Well here’s your chance.
